Located 3.6Km to the North of Old barrage, and 13.6 Km to the North of Naga-Hamadi town, the new Hydro Barrage includes 4 x 16MW Bulb Turbines, having a Discharge flow 3280m³/Sec, at average head 5.6 mt.

1- Erection of Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls Scope of supplies and works of the 4x16MW Hydro Power block including (but not limited to); Power & Aux Transformers, MV-LV SWG, DC system, Diesel Sets, Generator Excitations, Earthing, Lighting, Control & Monitoring equipment, CCTV & telecommunications, Power/Control cables & raceways, electrical motors & drives ...etc.

2- Erection of the project’s associated new 220KV Substation equipment and auxiliaries.
